What Risegate is
Risegate is a Mac app that analyses ski videos on your own computer: it finds the skier and the gates, times the run and describes what the body did. Its times are estimates, usually within a few frames of the real moment. It is not official race timing and shouldn't be used to decide results.
Your account
You need an account to analyse your own videos. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with your account. One account is for one person. The first 3 analyses on an account are free.
Subscriptions
- Plans. €10 a month or €79 a year, VAT included. The first month is free.
- Who sells it. Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC) sells the subscription as our reseller and is the seller on your receipt. Their buyer terms cover the payment itself.
- Free month. You give a card at checkout. Nothing is charged during the free month, and we email you before it ends. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Renewal. After the free month the plan renews automatically each month or year at the price you signed up at, until you cancel. If the price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before, and the new price applies only from your next renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for; it isn't renewed after that.

Offline use
The app checks your subscription when it's online. Without the internet it keeps working for up to 30 days from the last check.
Your videos and results
Your videos and everything the app makes from them stay on your computer and remain yours. We don't receive them unless you turn on "Send my videos to Risegate". What happens then is in the privacy policy. If you stop paying, everything you've already analysed stays on your computer and still opens.
Fair use
Don't try to get around the subscription check, resell access, or use the app on videos you have no right to use.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to make Risegate accurate, but we can't promise it will always find every gate or be free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in. We're fully liable for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and refund any unused paid period if we do.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, we update this page and tell subscribers by email before a change affects them. These terms are governed by the law of Slovakia; if you're a consumer in the EU you also keep the protection of the law where you live.
